Thus, Andrey Markelov, General Director of Balkan Express, explained: ‘the problem of the Consulate is that they do not have a separate agent for tour operators. Besides, they do not accept visa applications every day’. Furthermore, Nina Bogatenkova, the Head of Continent-tour, emphasized, that transit tourist traveling to Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey provoke the increase of application flow.
According to tour operators, the Consulate realizes the implications of the problem and try to solve it. However, in August when the work load will grow, the Consulate will need to organize its work more effectively in order to avoid further problems.
