[IMG=20317-6079]On June 29th one of the forum participants on the professional travel Internet portal www.tourdom.ru advised other forum participants not to send their clients to Club Turtels Marko Polo in Kemer. According to the forum participants, allegedly after management change of the hotel, the quality of services provided got worse: there are claims to assortment of drinks and dishes, personnel behavior.
Experts, interviewed by a BANKO correspondent, pointed out frequent changes owing management manipulations. For example, a representative of TEZ TOUR said: ‘sometimes not a professional in hotel business is appointed for a managing position that results into undesirable changes’.
Furthermore, Lubov Pyikova, Director of Kraski Mira (Colors of the world) Travel Agency, emphasized claims to another Turkish hotel – Lares Park – located between Antalya and Belek: ‘our regular clients said that the owner of the hotel changed thus provoking worse quality of services. We still sell the hotel but always warn our clients about the changes. It would be reasonable to publish such information about hotels in the hotel bases in the Internet. However, at the moment the only source of information is our clients’.
Meanwhile, Anna Podgornaya, Sales Director of Pegas Touristik, believes, personal replacements take place when business profitability does not satisfy its owner. ‘As a consequence a new management concept appears aimed at cost minimization and profit increase. The result depends on a new manager approach’, said Podgornaya. Furthermore, according to Mikhail Farber, General Director of ARFA Travel Agency, much depends on personality and ambitions of an owner: ‘sometimes, 3* hotels ‘behave’ better than pretentious 5* hotels. For example, Paloma Perissia Hotel in Side previously aimed at economy-class tourists, was completely refurbished and at the moment welcome more demanding public working upon ultra all inclusive system’. ‘Most positive impressions we hear about Boran Mare in Kemer that has recently received Holiday Village status. At the moment they have modern design of the rooms and a new disco club equipped with advanced devices’, commented Ivan Tsepkov from Sunrise Tour.
