Many hands make light work: Independent Travel Agencies Union

The scandal around Russian tourists left in Turkey showed that the time of separate travel agencies booking with infamous tour operating companies is passing by. We are entering the epoch of consolidated retail chains selling a product of respected companies. But what principles will this retail chain follow? What ideas will it propagandize? How can both tour operators and travel agencies advantage from creating a modern retail chain? We will try to find answers to these questions in the on-line conference devoted to the business plan of the Union initiated by 10 Moscow Tour Operating Companies: BSI Group, DSBW-Tours-Continent, ICS Travel Group, PAC Group, UTE Megapolus group, CAPITAL TOUR, Lanta-tour voyage, Roza Vetrov, RTC, Space Travel. These travel companies decided to unite its distribution channels and to establish The Union Of Travel Agencies. It is planned to become a new distribution chain in 2007.
