60 Passengers Had To Postpone Their Holidays In Crete For 18 Hours

[IMG=20021-5788]On June 4th a Moscow – Iraklion flight consolidated by Magapolus Aviacharter appeared to be overbooked. 60 passengers including 17 clients of UTE and 20 clients of IntAir were transferred to Crete by the next VIM-avia charter flight consolidated by IntAir at 12.45 a.m. on June 5th. The consolidator of the morning flight – Aviacharter – accommodated unlucky passengers in the hotel. However, claims from people, who had to postpone their holidays for 18 hours, are not excluded. The Head of IntAir, Alexander Korbarum, sent an open letter to BANKO placing responsibility for the incident on Magapolus Aviacharter. He also pointed out that Aviacharter often broke the terms of the agreement and the principles of the business ethics. In return the Head of Aviacharter, Mikhail Shamanov, leveled analogical charges against Alexander Korbarum and announced he was ready to defend his rightness in Court. Before meeting in Court, top managers of both companies will discuss the situation within the emergency on-line conference that will be broadcasted on www.tourdom.ru on June 6th at 3 p.m. Advocate Dmitry Cherepanov will be an independent expert of the on-line conference that will decide fate of VIM-avia charter flights to Crete. According to Alexander Korbarum on Sunday the overbooking might repeat, while Mikhail Shamanov assures it will not happen again.
