On May 4th the currency rate against 1$ was 27,15 rubles. The situation was the same six years ago – in January 2000. Nevertheless, the increased purchasing power of the Russian Ruble will not considerably stimulate the sales of tours to ‘dollar’ countries. Thus, according to Gennady Kosarev, General Director of Fresh Travel, much depends on the payment system in agencies. Besides, savings currency plays an important role. However, experts point out that possible benefits from exchange fluctuations are neutralized by inflation and the increased price of tickets. |
