On April 20th Master-bank together with Domodedovo Airport presented their Loyalty Program Domodedovo International Airport Club (DIAC). Frequently flying passengers starting from March can receive debit cards of one of the three categories – ‘classic’, ‘silver’ and ‘golden’.
The Press Service of the bank informed a BANKO correspondent that the validity period of DIAC Maestro or Visa Electron card is 5 years. Additionally, clients receive Visa Virtual card to make payments via the Internet and insurance policies for 30, 000$ (for traveling abroad) and 20, 000$ (for traveling within Russia). ‘Besides, our clients will have a 5% discount for taxi services provided by Domodedovo and 10% discount for registration in the passenger terminal of Paveletsky Railway Station. They will also have a range of preferences including, for example, a discount for Fast Track – priority service providing at the airport twice a year’, reported Master-bank Press Service.
A BANKO correspondent contacted travel companies to find out the advantages of the new loyalty program for average passengers. Thus, Boris Bogdanov, Director of Ascent Travel, believes that in average Russian people fly four times a year, therefore some options of the program might be advantageous for them. ‘I think, a discount for registration at Paveletsky Railway Station, fast Track Discount and priority service providing can be interesting for Russian tourists. Time will tell’, commented Bogdanov. Meanwhile, Tourism Director of Jet Travel, Galina Bukreeva, added that the program would be interesting for tourists ‘only if the bank will really provide them with the promised discounts’.
Furthermore, all the experts interviewed by a BANKO correspondent, agreed that ‘classic’ card will be in the highest demand by Russian tourists. It is enough to fly from the Domodedovo Airport once and to present the copy of the ticket to receive this type of DIAC card. Meanwhile, to receive a ‘silver’ card it is necessary to put a certain amount of money on the account and to fly from the airport minimum two times a year (minimum four flights for a ‘golden’ card).
