What will the 13th MITT bring?

On March 22nd the opening ceremony of MITT Exhibition was held in Expocenter. The exhibition being an important spring event generated the greatest interest of the international travel markets. Experts believe that the results of MITT will influence exhibitors’ preferences regarding participation in specialized fairs next year as the majority of travel market players can not double their budgets for exhibition and to take part in competing spring events. Furthermore, all those who greeted the guests at the opening ceremony pointed out the importance of the exhibition as a symbol of a new season start and its popularity with international companies who choose MITT to help them to promote their businesses in Russia. Meanwhile, the organizers of the exhibition proved this having outlined that 2700 companies from 110 countries came to participate in MITT 2006. These figures are even more impressive than the ones of MITT 2005 when the exhibition welcomed 2500 companies from 106 countries. Meanwhile, comparison with Intourmarket which was held in Moscow for the first time from March 19th to March 22nd is not in favor the new exhibition – 790 companies from 50 countries. Foreign companies that visited the opening ceremony shared their enthusiasm regarding the exhibition. For example, a representative of a company from Switzerland said: ‘MITT is celebrating its 13th birthday and we will come to participate in it for at least next ten years’.
