Besides, agents interviewed by a BANKO correspondent on February 28th outlined changes within reservation system and tickets return policies on other European routes. Nevertheless, retail partners of the national airline do not demonstrate any disagreement pointing out unexpected changes and innovations of Aeroflot policy have become a peculiar feature of the company. ‘We have got accustomed to it and therefore are not surprised with the new rules’, said Aram Antonyan, General Director of Bolero – Tour. A BANKO correspondent contacted Andrey Polozov-Yablonsky, General Director Deputy of Department of Aeroflot Sales, for comments: ‘a complicated system of tariffs in a large company leads to constant changes – new tariffs and rules are introduced. It is Aeroflot’s reaction on the changing market situation, for example, on new competitors entering the market. Discounted airline tickets at cheap rates can be a reaction on competitors’ dumping policy. It is clear that after our competitor withdraw from market or we make an agreement the commercial situation stabilize’.
