MITT or Intourmarket?

[IMG=19104-4776] Two large travel exhibitions – MITT and Intourmarket - will be held in Moscow at the end of March. Therefore, on February 16th a BANKO correspondent contacted representatives of tour operating companies from seven Russian cities in order to find out about their preferences. As a result, it turned out that the majority of companies will participate in that exhibition where they could meet more companies- partners with whom they plan to negotiate. For example, Svetlana Sukhodolskaya from Samara travel company SBIS-tour said that they had made the decision to participate in MITT as their partners traditionally choose this exhibition. Rostov travel company will go to MITT due to the same reason: ‘there is no point to go to both exhibitions. Moreover, many operators will come to Rostov in April to Tourism and Holidays exhibition’, said General Director Deputy of the company, Ilona Tishkova. Meanwhile, some of companies interviewed by a BANKO correspondent plan to go to both exhibitions. ‘It is very convenient that they are held at the same time. We will send our representatives to both exhibitions to see the advantages of each of them’, stated Galina Zabolotskikh, Director of Zapaduralbis travel company from Perm. Furthermore, Boris Kolomeets, believes it is more efficient to concentrate on one of the exhibitions, although he has not decided yet which one to participate in: ‘we need to decide about organization and accommodation. For example, Crocus Expo fair where Intoutmarket will take place is very inconveniently located, therefore a transfer will be necessary every day’.
