The organizer of the tour Vanama Tour gave an alarm. At first AzAl offered all the passengers a 50% refund of the tickets cost. But finally the air company undertook obligations to transfer the passengers back to Moscow. Inna Melnikova, General Director Deputy of Super – Avia (official office of AzAl in Russia) said to a BANKO correspondent, that at the moment in Delhi there are 500 passengers of AzAl, including 150 pilgrims sent by Vanama Tour. ‘AzAl Office in India will provide all of them with plane tickets. All Russian tourists will return to Moscow’, said Melnikova. The passengers will be transferred back to Moscow by Aeroflot as only the national airline realize direct Delhi-Moscow flights. According to Melnikova, the agreement with Aeroflot has been already made. Vanama Tour confirmed to a BANKO correspondent that Super-Avia provided them with an official notification. ‘At the moment it is too early to make conclusions. Until the tourists have tickets to return to Moscow we can not say that the problem has been resolved’, said General Director of Vanama Tour, Sandjit Dgkha.’ It is necessary to point out that AzAl terminated not only Moscow-Delhi-Moscow flights but also flights to Karachi (Pakistan) and Aleppo (Siria). AzAl Company undertook an obligation to transfer tourists who are in those cities at the moment back to Moscow too. |
