Cold weather has caused problems for several travel companies. A BANKO correspondent found out that on January 19th companies located at the address: Novoslobodskaya Str., 20, bld. 6 had to make changes in their working regime due to the hot water pipe break. ‘All documents are under water! Neither computers nor telephones work!’ said General Director of Gornyi Sklon, Nadejda Balandina. Such companies as Global Voyage, Russkie Puteshestviya (Russian Trips) and Aquamarine also suffered from the emergency situation.
Emergency power cuts also affected the working schedule of travel companies. We remind you that the information about this was published a few days ago (News/ 17.01). For example, companies located in the business center Molodaya Gvardiya. Alexey Samko, Advertising Manager of Interunion, commented on the situation: ‘On January 19th the power was cut from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The situation has partly stabilized – the Internet does not work still’.
Meanwhile, in the majority of companies, interviewed by BANKO correspondents, in spite of cold weather all managers come bravely to work. As for tourists they prefer phone calls to personal visits of offices.
