Hard times for 'Zdorovie'

[IMG=18651-4236] Thursday, December 15 RBK website informed that the day before in Moscow Samir Kurbanov, the head of the Sanatorium-resort association ‘Zdorovie’ and CJSC ‘Management of sanatorium-resort service of the Russian regions’, was arrested and released on his own recognizance. RBK website mentions the initiation of a criminal case according to art.159 p.4 (fraudulent activities, committed by the organized group, involving 7 million rubles). The whole tourism market was shocked with this news. It was also quite actively discussed at our forum. According to what Samir Kurbanov said to a BANKO correspondent, he knew about his arrest from his friends, nobody from the law – enforcement authorities came to him and he did not sign any recognizance not to leave the country. ‘At the moment I am trying to discover who and with what purpose initiated this publication’, – said Kurbanov. According to one of the versions, the reasons can be found in the situation with the company headed by Samir Kurbatov – the company is living through a difficult period. At the moment the license of ‘Zdorovie’ is not valid and some partners, whom the company owes the money, are trying to collect the debt through the court. Thus, Surgut agency ‘Columbus’ (about the incident with which read the news edition as of 29.08, 23.09) is waiting for response to the court claim issued to the Moscow Arbitration Court. Lyudmila Valieva, director of ‘Columbus’, is sure about the success as the tourists themselves who turned out to be lawyers conduct the case. Nevertheless the head of ‘Zdorovie’ does not see any connection between the debts and the publication. According to him, there is no need for his partners to use such methods in order to collect the debts. Most probably, the publication was initiated by the competitors. But ‘Zdorovie’ does not plan to phase down and is going to pay all the debts in the nearest two months. Kurbanov also can put the law on the mass media that published untrustworthy information. ‘To do this it is necessary to send a request to the notary office with the specification of the website and the information to be notarized. With the notarized copy of the publication it is possible to reach a decision of the court laying the mass media to the obligation to issue a denial’, said Georgy Mokhov, director of the legal agency ‘Persona Grata’. It will not bring any financial profit but will be a good counterbalance to the negative information.
