Will the sale help Bali?

According to experts, in the middle of December the charter flights Moscow - Denpasar have one third of available seats, while last year tour operators at the time reported the New Year sales successful. Although the market hopes the situation will change. ‘According to my data, - says Tatiana Vand, director of ‘Vand International tour’. - ‘The situation with flight for the 25th and 27th of December is poor. Tours to Thailand, Goa and Sri-Lanka are being sold more actively, in spite of the fact that today Bali is cheaper than even Goa. Yet for many clients the deciding factor is the duration of the flight. - for Bali is it almost twice as long. But I hope that when these tours are over, people will switch to Bali. And in the end all flights will be closed. Moreover, I think, we will get round without dumping - after all, prices cannot be lower than they currently are’. Andrey Kuznetsov, director of ‘South Cross Agency’ also believes that the big part of tours will be sold out. ‘Flights for the 3rd and the 5th of January are already presently closed by 80%’, - he says. – ‘And I do not doubt that we will be able to sell everything for these dates. However, for the 27th (and particularly for the 25th) there will be unsold seats, caused by saturation of flights.’ Availability of ‘spare seats’ are connected by analytics with the plans of ‘Neva’ company to launch their own two charters to the island (see news as of 6.12). In the conversation with a BANKO correspondent one of the experts mentioned that the ambitions of the firm in the light of new circumstances are allegedly now limited by one flight. However, ‘Neva’ does not confirm this information – in the office a BANKO correspondent was offered to acquire tours for any of earlier announced dates.
