In South-East Asia the best time of the year is approaching, once the season of rains had finished on the main resorts of the region. According to Oxana Stavitskaya, manager of South-East destination at ‘PAX’ company, ‘Staring from November the best period begins for the whole region and the temperature stays at +28-30 С’.
In Thailand monsoon rains were followed by the so-called dry season, when the stay in the country is more comfortable. However, according to Dmitriy Gor, manager of Thailand destination at ‘Tour bureau Moscow’, it is not quite correct to call the summer period in the Kingdom as a season of rains: ‘Indeed it rains heavily but they are short-term rains and there are many sunny days’.
‘In the near future in the country a clear and sunny weather will remain. Difference of temperatures in the day and night time is very small: 28-30 and 24-26 С accordingly’, - says Evgeniy Sladkopevtsev, manager of ‘ITM group’ company as the given destination.
In Pattaya it will be a little cooler for tourists: 26-28 C at daytime and 23-25 С at night. But it might rain here next week. On the Phuket the average temperature for nearest dates is forecasted to be 26-28 С. However, according to ‘PAX’ employees, whose tourists arrived on the island on Friday, report that by the dinner time the temperature rose to 31 С. The exception to the rule is the island of Samui, where it rains the heaviest in December-January. But as a BANKO correspondent was told in the company ‘Agency South cross’, the precipitation period will not disturb tourists, as after short rain there will be sun again and the air will warm up to 30 С. At the same time, at the end of November the island saw such heavy rainstorms that some tourists expressed the wish to abandon the resort (see news as of 28.11).
The day temperature in Singapore remains at 26-28 С. But up till the 14th of December there is a probability of short rains. On Bali Island the weather is dry and hot: at daytime the air warms up to 32C, water is up to 25 С. Yet, according to forecasts, light rains will arrive to the island next week.
