About the importance of feedback

[IMG=18474-4074] Not much time is left before the award ceremony of "TBG. Tourist brands", which will take place on Tuesday, December 6, in Ekaterinina palace. At the moment it is not only organisers who are actively preparing for the event (see previous news about the work of members of the staff) but also the top management of companies-nominees. On the eve of the ceremony a BANKO correspondent asked them a question about company’s advantages of participawting in TBG. Andrey Ignatiev, chairman of the board of directors of BSI group, for instance, belives that his company was encouraged for further development: ‘…We started communicating more with the top management of other companies, we made friends with them during our trips in the regions. For BSI it provided the valuable feedback. We managed to better define our company, understand our niche, advantages, which make the company recognisable, allow us to claim the status of a brand, see the positions we want to acieve to be the best’. Similar commnet was received from Ilia Itkin, general director of ‘Pack Group’: ‘For the company to be calle dteh brand is - a certain mobilization of resources, it obliges to work with expected quality, pay attention to technologies, to work with agency, personnel. When we meet, we forget that we are competitors. It enables to exchange experience, to speak of problem, about more global trends, important for the market". Importance of feedback is also mentioned by Sergey Zenkin, president of ‘Roses of Winds’: ‘The decision to participate in TBG was taken as this is one of the means of promoting the company. This helps to trace its course and do necessary corrections. Changes occur in the internal work of the company, also after meetings with colleagues. As for the ceremony – it is another way of promoting, as wella s the holiday which we will celebrate with our regional agencies…’.
