Is there going to be a ‘Brand № 1’ in tourism?

[IMG=18425-4026] Starting from the 22nd of November 2005 in the ‘hall’ of the site www.tourdom.ru the presentations submitted by the participants of ‘TBG Tourist brands’ to the expert committee will be available for viewing. Together with results of sociological surveys of potential customers of travel services as well as professionals working on the travel market, these results will define the nomination a company will be awarded. Presentations also include the report about creative decisions, which were used by the nominees in their advertising campaigns during the year. The expert committee of the nomination which includes competent specialists in advertising, mass media and marketing communications (more details about the committee is available on the site) has already begun its work. The results will be decided during the organization committee on the 28th of November but preliminary results about the quality of the ‘creative solution’ among nominees can be forecasted now. For example, some participants of expert committee, to their surprise, mention ‘unequal quality of presentations’. Curiously enough, to a greater extent it is characterizing those nominees whose activity in promotion does not raise any doubts. A striking difference compared to the previous year is so obvious that representatives of the expert committee question the possibility of granting the main accolade of ‘Brand №1’ to any company. Yet these are only assumptions, the final decision will be announced on the 6th of December when the final ceremony of awarding nominees will be held.
