On the 14th of November large specialist of the media business tuned in the life of tourist industry as soon as expert committee of ‘TBG. Tourist brands’ started their work. The members of the committee have to assess the efficiency and professionalism of the nominees’ work in promoting their brands. Experts should identify the leaders in categories: most successive creative solutions in branding and most convincing effect in B2B format, published in professional mass media in 2005. The participants of the nomination from their side have provided the ‘big jury’ with analytical messages and the best examples of their work for the year. Last materials from tour operators the members of the committee received practically yesterday.
The expert committee consists of 13 specialists from advertising, consulting agencies and mass media, that is: Nikolai Dubovoy - first deputy of general director of ‘First cahnnel. International network’, Sergey Kalmyikov – general director of ‘Echo of Moscow’, Elena Bazyakina – account director in HMS CARAT GROUP / BTL – Pro Action Agency, Natalia Orlova – managing director of the Russian association of public relations, Mintusov Igor – president of ‘Niccolo M’ advertising agency, Oxana Rebrik – general director of ‘Maxima’ advertising agency, Vladimir Frolov – managing director of ‘R.I.M. Porter Novelli’ advertising agency, Elizaveta Andreeva – commercial director of ‘TriPlan’ advertising agency, Grigory Badalyan – analytical consultant of Brand consulting ‘Kuzmenkov and Partners’, Timofey Studilin – account director of ‘Europe Advertizing’, Tatiana Dmitrova – president of BANKO Information Service, editor of the magazine ‘Hot Line. Tourism’, Sergey Koptev – general director of ‘Starkom Media West Group’ advertising agency.
Despite the respected and competent make-up of the committee of branding, the united opinion on which operator deserved to be the award winner in 2005 will not be the only one. The mark of the jury will be completed by the data of two independent surveys: interviewing of Moscow citizens on the subject of publicity of presented brands (this survey is carried out by ‘TriPlan’ advertising agency) and interviewing of 600 specialists of Moscow travel firms who expressed their opinion. Final results of the research and expert conclusions will be announced on the 6th of December during the award ceremony.
