There is not enough of Viet Nam sky

According to experts interviewed by a BANKO correspondent, this destination gradually evolving into a trendy one had a deficit of air. There is enough of changing flights (‘Transaero’, ‘Aeroflot’, ‘Thai airlines’ fly with via Bangkok, also ‘Transaero’ make flights via Singapore and Air China – via Hong Kong), but they are less attractive to players due to high prices. Yet, on direct flights, which are carried out from the 31st of October by ‘Vietnamese airlines’ by Boeing-777 (on Mondays: Moscow-Saigon, on Wednesdays and Saturdays: Moscow-Hanoi), there is often a lack of available tickets. According to market players, the air carrier sells most of the tickets by retail, the majority of buyers being citizens of Viet Nam working in Moscow. ‘Vietnamese airlines are not aiming at block-buyers’, comments Nguyen Van Kui, a head of the transport department of ‘Ami tour’. Nevertheless, there is a certain consolidation of firms. ‘The carrier has a special agreed price for three operators who specialize in selling tickets, some groups are booked for high season, but conditions are very strict and it is just a drop in the ocean’, says Tatiana Vand, General Director of ‘Vand international’. It is ‘Inna-tour’, ‘Airclub’ and ‘Transtour’ who, in their turn, provide seats for other players – for instance, ‘Vand international’, ‘Quinta tour’, ‘Focus Asia’ and UTE Megapolus. According to Nikolai Toktaev, a head of sales department of Moscow office of ‘Vietnamese airlines’, as early as in September there should have been the carrier’s fourth flight, which was promoted even more to increase the demand. ‘However it did not work out, planes are very expensive as we use the newest Boeing-777s’, said Toktaev to a BANKO correspondent. Meanwhile, expert added that Airline Company is currently waiting for an official confirmation of the new flight to Saigon to be launched by next April.
