Autumn flu has come

[IMG=18007-3399] Autumn cold has affected the work of travel companies. Some of the managers have fallen ill, so there is a lack of manpower. Flu has harmed small companies the most, but the illness of top managers at big company also troubles their colleagues. At the moment there are five sick managers at Art tour operator, according to the words of Dmitry Arutyunov, General Director of the company. ‘Couriers and managers are ill, we are short in manpower. The question of vaccination becomes ever important,’ says Mr. Arutyunov. ‘The problem is that we have a lot of workaholics. People come to work when they’re ill, and spread the infection!’ Evgeniy Sudbin, deputy Director General of Ascent Travel, says that the peak of illness in the company passed a couple of weeks ago. ‘Some managers were on sick-leave, but some still came to work. Ideally, the infected must me isolated from the rest of the employees. But the reality may be quite different – there are irreplaceable people in the company!’ At the same time Anna Podgornaya, Pegas Touristic sales director, says that in her company they managed to avoid massive sick-leave due to medical service. ‘We all received flu vaccinations, and if someone has already fallen ill, we advised them to stay at home!’
